A protest was held by BJP and Hindu organizations in Madurai’s Palaganatham area to condemn the issue of meat being taken to Thiruparankundram Hill.
Senior BJP leader H. Raja, who participated in the protest, said that Murugan will rule in Tamil Nadu in 2026. H. Raja, who strongly criticized what is happening in Tamil Nadu as an anti-Hindu Taliban government, vowed that the DMK will no longer be able to come to power.
H. Raja, who criticized Chief Minister Stalin for running a government against Hindus, said that all police officers who committed injustice will be put in jail.
The issue of some people taking non-vegetarian food to Thiruparankundram Hill caused controversy throughout the state. Following this, the BJP and Hindu organizations decided to hold a protest in Thiruparankundram.
When the police refused permission for this, members of the BJP and Hindu Munnani organization were arrested in large numbers in various districts. Meanwhile, the case related to obtaining permission for the protest came up for hearing in the Madurai branch of the High Court. At that time, the High Court granted permission to hold a protest in the Palakkanatham area of Madurai.
Following the permission granted by the Madurai branch of the High Court, a protest was held near the Palakkanatham roundabout in Madurai. Thousands of people belonging to the BJP and Hindu organizations participated in this, and they shouted that the Tamil Nadu government should protect the Thiruparankundram hill. Moreover, the people gathered there raised slogans such as Vetrivel and Veeravel.
