The 68th anniversary of the founding of the BJP’s pioneer Jana Sangam, Siyama Prasad Mukherjee, was observed yesterday. In this regard, the state leader of the Tamil Nadu BJP Dr. L. Murugan paid floral tributes to his portrait at the Kamalalayam.
On his Twitter page, L. Murugan said, “Today, on the eve of the Memorial Day of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the Guiding Lantern of Indian Nation, I paid homage to his portrait at the Kamalalayam.” That was posted.
And ahead of the end of Prime Minister Modi’s seven-year rule, the BJP is celebrating it as Seva Day and providing welfare assistance to the poor. In this context, a program was held in Guduvancheri, Chengalpattu District to provide welfare assistance to frontline workers and the poor.
BJP state president L Murugan, who was present at the event, handed over a “Modi kit” containing ration items to frontline staff and auto drivers to the common people who came there.
