The 41st religious class convocation and 35th convocation ceremony of Hindu Dharma Vidya Peedham, located at Velli Hill in Kanyakumari district, was held (Sep.22) in Thiruvatar. Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi participated in this program and awarded Vidya Bhushan degrees to the students of the religious class. Earlier, the Governor was presented with mementoes on behalf of Hindu Dharma Vidya Peedam.
Following this, the Governor said in the program: “I am thankful to Hindu Dharma Vidya Peedam. I am happy that Indian Dharma Vidya Peedham has been working for 40 years to make India a better country. Hindu dharma has created Bharat. Bharat and Hinduism cannot be separated. For almost 1000 years, they did whatever they could to destroy our dharma during the colonial rule. We have been through them all.
Our dharma is indestructible. Efforts are being made to weaken it. But they will not succeed in them. Sanatana Dharma is simple. But it looks complicated when seen outside. Because we worship many gods. Some people try to use this to create confusion.
Everyone should know about Sanatana Dharma. Be prepared to explain to everyone. Especially the youth and the younger community should be ready to give an explanation about this,” said the governor.
