Governor RN Ravi inaugurated an exhibition honoring unknown national freedom fighters at Vyasarpadi, Chennai.
On the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day, Jaysuya Intellectual Academy and Center for South Indian Studies organized a painting workshop on the theme ‘Unknown Freedom Fighters of Tamil Nadu’ to honor the lesser known national freedom fighters of Tamil Nadu.
An exhibition of paintings by participating students was held at Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College, Vyasarpadi. Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi attended and inaugurated the exhibition. He then inspected the paintings of freedom fighters displayed there and appreciated the remarkable dedication and effort of the students.
The Governor highlighted how the work of the students highlights these overlooked heroes and the deep suffering and sacrifices they endured and at the same time inspires future generations to realize the Bharat envisioned by those freedom fighters.
