The Central Minister has written a reply letter to Chief Minister M.K.Stalin asking Tamil Nadu to sign the PM Shri scheme.
Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has written a letter to Chief Minister M.K.Stalin asking him to sign the PMSree project agreement as promised by the Tamil Nadu government.
In the letter, Dharmendra Pradhan said:- “Thousands of students in Tamil Nadu have benefited from the Samagra Siksa scheme. As Tamil Nadu is implementing this scheme, it is necessary to accept PMSree scheme to further raise the standard of education.
Political policies should not interfere with children’s education and future. The benefits of the new education policy should reach students across the country. I am happy to inform you that Tamil Nadu has given an assurance on 15.03.2024 to sign PMSree scheme. PM Shri should sign the project agreement as promised by the Tamil Nadu government.
Central government is making a concerted effort to encourage students to learn multilingualism along with Tamil language. A Tamil channel was launched last July to help students learn Tamil. The Samagra Siksha scheme is the biggest central government scheme for universalization of education”.
Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has written a letter in response to the letter written by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin asking that the amount of Rs.2,152 crores should be released to Tamil Nadu under the Samagra Siksha scheme in the financial year 2024-25.
