India’s 78th Independence Day is going to be celebrated with grandeur across the country tomorrow. Prime Minister Modi will hoist the national flag and deliver the Independence Day speech at a ceremony to be held at the Red Fort in Delhi tomorrow at 7.30 am. This is his 11th Independence Day speech.
This year’s Independence Day celebrations will be themed ‘Valaranda Bharatam’. Preparations for this festival are going on in full swing.
Meanwhile, the full rehearsal program of the Independence Day ceremony was held yesterday at Delhi’s Red Fort. Defense personnel also participated in this. Also paramilitary forces and NCC. The student body also participated. As a part of the program, a drill on safety and rescue operations was also conducted. Traffic around Red Fort was diverted due to rehearsals.
Elevated security arrangements have been made in Delhi ahead of the Independence Day celebrations. The security forces have taken great care in security as security threats have already been made. Intelligence police are also paying more attention. 3,500 traffic police and 10,000 Delhi Police have been deployed in the outer areas of the Red Fort for security.
Paramilitary forces will be stationed in layers around the Red Fort and in the interior. The roads around Red Fort have been brought under the control of security forces. Surveillance cameras are increasingly being installed. Artificial intelligence cameras have been installed at 700 locations.
Surveillance has been intensified not only in the Red Fort area of Delhi but also in the airport, railway stations, bus stations, shopping malls and markets where people congregate a lot.
