Sambhai Soran has said that he has decided to join BJP for the benefit of Jharkhand state.
The Jharkhand Assembly elections are due later this year. Meanwhile, former Jharkhand Chief Minister and senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Sambhai Soran will join the BJP on August 30 with his supporters in Ranchi.
Earlier, Sambhai Soran was the Chief Minister of Jharkhand when Hemant Soran went to jail. He was the Chief Minister for about 5 months. Sambhai Soren had to step down as chief minister after Hemant Soren was granted bail at the end of June. Sambhai Soren had recently revealed that some of the things that happened then hurt him.
In this context, Sambhai Soran recently went to Delhi to join the BJP. He had met senior leaders. It was then that he may join the BJP. Sambhai Soran met Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma was present during this meeting.
Sharing a related photo, Himanta Biswa Sharma posted, “Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and tribal leader Sambhai Soran will officially join BJP on August 30th at the General Assembly in Ranchi.”
In this case, Sambhai Soran has said that he has decided to join the BJP for the benefit of the state of Jharkhand. Talking to reporters about this, he said, “My decision to join BJP depends on the interests of the state of Jharkhand. I am used to protests. Soon I will resign from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party and from the post of minister.”
