The state government plans to hold vaccination camps in colleges in an effort to boost the corona vaccination movement in Punjab.
The state government will launch this special campaign to make it easier for all students above the age of 18 to be vaccinated and for all staff, including professors in colleges, to be vaccinated.
The Punjab Health and Family Welfare Department has set up special camps in government colleges and will take steps to vaccinate all eligible students and staff by July.
In addition, Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan asked the concerned authorities to set up a special committee at the district level to inspect the affected areas in the state.
Principal Health Secretary Hussein Lal said a nodal officer would be appointed to ensure proper use of health infrastructure in the state.
He also asked the authorities to further strengthen the health infrastructure.
