Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate 2 more Vande Bharat Rail services in Tamil Nadu today.
A total of 5 Vande Bharat trains are currently operating in Tamil Nadu. In this situation, new Vande Bharat trains are going to be operated between Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil and Madurai – Bengaluru Cantonment.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate this new Vande Bharat Rail service today through a video presentation. Arrangements have been made for this event at Chennai Central. Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil Vande Bharat train service operates 6 days a week except Wednesday and Bengaluru – Madurai Vande Bharat train operates 6 days a week except Tuesday.
Vande Bharat Train Schedule:-
Vande Bharat Express train between Egmore – Nagercoil (20627 – 20628) stops at 7 places namely Tambaram, Villupuram, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Kovilpatti, Nellai. The train will have a total of 16 coaches. 1 of which is executive class and rest of the cabins are AC. It will be an add-on car.
The new Vande Bharat train will leave Chennai Egmore at 5 am and reach Nagercoil at 1.50 pm. It will depart from Nagercoil at 2.20 pm and reach Chennai Egmore at 11.15 pm. So this train is going to be operated in a single day return.
Similarly, the new Vande Bharat train from Madurai to Bengaluru (20671 – 20672) will depart from Madurai at 5.15 am and reach Bengaluru at 1 pm. This train stops at 6 stations namely Dindigul, Trichy, Karur, Namakkal, Salem and Krishnarajapuram. It will depart at 1.30 pm and reach Madurai at 9.54 pm on the reverse route. It is reported that this train will have 8 coaches.
