More than 20 people were injured in an accident between a private bus and a truck near Salem.
A private bus from Salem to Valasayur was going near Devangar Colony. Then an oncoming lorry lost control and hit the bus.
More than 20 people traveling in the bus were injured and admitted to Salem Government Hospital for treatment. Also, the local people rescued the driver trapped in the truck and sent him to the hospital.
The Viranam police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
