Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the CBI’s arrest in the Delhi liquor policy case.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the enforcement department and lodged in Tihar Jail in the case of violation of liquor policy.
As CBI is also investigating this case, Kejriwal was officially arrested by CBI. However, Arvind Kejriwal filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, claiming that the CBI had illegally arrested him.
After the petition was rejected, he appealed to the Supreme Court. Apart from this, Kejriwal also filed another petition seeking bail in the CBI case. The case is expected to come up for trial soon.
