Governor R.N.Ravi has said that the circulation of drugs like heroin and cocaine is increasing in Tamil Nadu.
A program on drug prevention and awareness was held at Christian Women’s College, Nungambakkam, Chennai. Governor R.N.Ravi, who participated in the program, gave a special speech to the students after inaugurating the programme.
Speaking then, he said that most of the loan recipients under the Mudra scheme are women. He also said that women should create opportunities for themselves without waiting for a job. Governor Ravi also said that drug use destroys not only an individual but also a society.
