While 84 percent of Americans have a negative view of China, only 27 percent of Americans have an unfavorable view of India.
Indians are making a huge impact not only in America but also in England. Indians have the highest home ownership in England and Wales. Government figures show that 71 per cent of Indians living in the UK own their own homes. Meanwhile, Indians make up 34 percent of professionals in the UK, including doctors, teachers and lawyers. 19 people of Indian origin, including former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, are members of the British Parliament.
A large number of Indians are also high earners in Europe, especially Germany, which also boosts the UK economy.
Wherever they go, Indians are said to be changing local economic patterns by buying property there.
In fact, the massive increase in the number of Indians of Indian origin and diaspora across the globe shows India’s growing hegemony in the world.
It is a fact that diaspora Indians, who are the second largest diaspora community in the world, have contributed immensely to strengthen the cultural, literary, political and economic ties between India and the rest of the world.
