Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial custody has been extended till September 3 in the Delhi liquor policy case.
Kejriwal was produced in the Delhi Liquor Policy Violation case through video in the Rose Avenue court. It was argued by the CBI that the Aam Aadmi Party contested the Goa Legislative Assembly elections with the money obtained from the liquor policy scandal.
In that regard, the CBI argued that the party had given Rs 90 lakh each to the candidate in all the 40 constituencies in Goa and that there was a pretext for this.
A supplementary chargesheet was also filed in the case. Subsequently, the judge extended Kejriwal’s judicial custody till September 3 and said that the additional charge sheet would be considered on that day.
