A resolution was passed in the Visuva Hindu Parishad working committee meeting held in Tanjore to condemn the attack on Hindus in Bengal.
State Joint Secretary Senthil Murugan, who met the press after the meeting, spoke about the resolutions, in which the Indian government should protect the Bangladeshi Hindus of the meeting and the railway administration should take steps to reduce the inconvenience of devotees coming to the Kumbh Mela.
He also informed that 8 important resolutions including awareness classes should be conducted by the Tamil Nadu government to create a drug-free Tamil Nadu, were passed through the executive committee meeting.
