In this case, Air India has been fined 90 lakh rupees for operating the flight with unqualified pilots. The Directorate of Civil Aviation has imposed a fine of Rs 6 lakh on the Executive Director of Air India and Rs 3 lakh on the Director of Flight Training in this matter.
It was revealed that Air India was operating the flight with unqualified pilots during the regular reporting by the airlines to the Directorate of Civil Aviation. Subsequently, after seeking an explanation from Air India regarding this matter, it was confirmed that the flight was operated by unqualified pilots. As a result, Air India has been fined Rs 90 lakh, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.
