A case has been filed in the iCourt against holding the Formula 4 car race in Chennai.
Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority and a private organization have decided to hold the Formula 4 car race in Chennai. The car race was scheduled to take place in December last year but was postponed due to Cyclone Mikjam.
It has been announced that the Formula 4 car race will be held for a distance of 3.5 kilometers around the Chennai Archipelago on the 31st and 1st of September. Preparations for the race are in full swing. Lighting is being installed, seats for 8,000 spectators and security fences are being erected.
In this situation, a petition has been filed in the ICourt against holding the Formula 4 car race in Chennai. Tamil Nadu BJP Spokesman BNS Prasad filed this petition. While the petitioner’s side requested that the case be heard as an urgent case this afternoon, the judges said that they would hear it tomorrow.
