Colored lanterns worth Rs.50 lakh were stolen from the road leading to Ram temple in Ayodhya.
In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, there is a temple of the Hindu god Rama. The dedication of this temple was held on January 22. Following this, the devotees were allowed to worship at the Ram temple. Since then, thousands of people visit Ram temple in Ayodhya and offer worship.
Meanwhile, thousands of colored lights have been installed on the way to Ayodhya Ram temple. 6 thousand 400 colored lights and 96 laser lights have been installed. The maintenance of these lights is carried out by a private company. The value of these lamps is around Rs 1 crore.
In this case, it has been reported that 3 thousand 800 colored lights have been stolen from the colored lights on the way to the Ayodhya temple. 36 laser lights were also stolen.
While all the lights were present during the survey on March 19, a subsequent survey revealed that more than half of the lights were stolen. The value of the stolen colored lights is reported to be around Rs 50 lakh. A complaint has been lodged with the police regarding this incident of theft. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and are investigating.
